What would you consider the best school district in San Antonio, Texas. Middle and High schools?
We are thinking about moving to San Antionio, Texas. We have an 8th grader and would like her to be in a good school in a good school district. I appreciate any imput. Thanks and Blessed Be.

Try for a school in NISD. Best areas are north and northeast, stay away from the west side, its pretty crime riden.

People go apeshit for Alamo Heights. It's truly over rated though. My aunt taught in San Antonio ISD, and she said the kids were pretty brutal. I go to school in NEISD. My home school is churchill, but I go to a magnet program at Lee. Most people think lee is ghetto or in a 'bad side of town' but, it really isn't. There are a lot of high school magnet programs for whatever she's into; health careers, design and engineering, international culture, the arts, communications, and even more.

I want to me an officer in the USMC. I'm in 8th grade 13 i live in San Antonio Texas and i wana know if theres any high schools that can help me with that?

Marshall High School. They are the Marines and Navy. I was in ROTC at Marshall my freshman year back in...04-05? Wish I can remember the sgt's name...but I know he's still there. Good luck! Rotc is really fun. If I didn't have to move the following year I def. would have stayed in all four years. Not sure of any other high schools that offer usmc rotc here in SA.

Can someone please tell me what area in San Antonio is a good one for a family? A safe one, with good schools and close to things, not a long commute to work, etc.

Well, I don't know where you will be working, but the nicest and newest and most modern areas are the northside, northwest side and upcomming is the west side. Do NOT go east or south unless you have a lot of insurance and a lot of guns.

The area around coker elementary, bradley middle school, and Churchill highschool. it isn't far from downtown and it is very safe neighborhood. The schools are great as well.
