My husband is a MA and just left San Antonio in October!! :) But yes, you can buy a laptop there at the BX, and also you can have your cell hooked up and stuff if needed. If you want the internet my husband had to buy the little WIFI thing from verizon because i dont think you are allowed to get the internet and cable hooked up in A-School. But you have 3 Levels in A-School Level 1: You have to wear you uniform all the time and you cant leave base (unless you arrive from bootcamp early and you have a couple of days liberty) and you have to muster. Level 2: You can go off base but you have to be back for muster at a certain time. Level 3: You can stay overnight off base and i think you muster in the morning. Good luck!!
